Breached Forum, a popular online forum for hackers, recently experienced downtime for a few hours due to a 502 Bad Gateway error. The issue was caused by an admin error during a transition of leadership. The previous admin, known as "pompompurin," was arrested, and a new admin took over.
According to a statement by the new admin on the forum's Telegram channel, the downtime was caused by their mistake in pasting a key message, which resulted in a bad signature error. "I'm a moron and somehow pasted the message incorrectly, causing the key to cause a bad signature error," the admin admitted.
Breached Forum has a reputation for being a hub for cybercriminals to share information and tools related to hacking. Despite its illegal nature, the forum has gained a significant following in the online world.
The recent downtime has raised some speculated that the downtime might have been caused by a hack or a raid by law enforcement. However, the new admin has assured members that their mistake caused the downtime.
